Kulkarni Drama company

           Those are the times when the British started ruling the Indian territory. Nationalism and patriotism are being a bottleneck for them to rule India. So they wanna make use of diversity in India for their favor. Then they started implementing the Divide and rule policy in India which aims to divide the people into manageable chunks and that makes them impossible to come together and fight against the sovereign British. They started using of differences between regional powers like Marathas, Mysore, and Nijams and they further stepped ahead by creating religion and caste-based differences in India.

         As it going on in India. I would like you to take a zoom-in into  a small town in India (dy/dx of india in engineering terms ) 

This town in India comprises of many diversities like castes , creed and races. As a result of divide and rule policy their raised quarrels in that town between the contrasting races and religions. In the same town there was a famous drama company named Kulkarni Drama company. This company is well known for performing mythological dramas through art called Thollu bommalata (a puppet show which uses leather puppets as characters). The owner of the drama company was so creative at performing dramas. As he came to know the situation in his town. He got the idea to perform a drama on the situation that was created in India. After someday, he announced the show which will gonna play in the evening  when the company usually plays its dramas.

 The curtain raised and there comes the ........

The background says, ''Children of Mother India welcome to the Kulkarni Drama company show tonight". ''Without any further ado, let's start our show''

 The background voice started telling the story....

There is a forest which has many animals like elephants, deer, wolves, giraffes, monkeys.... and various birds. As forest is the land of prosperity in terms of providing shelter, food and living. Those animals are ecstatic in their way of life. Every day was Sunday for those animals in that undisturbed forest....

One day a man entered the forest with an axe in his hand. He started choosing some sumptuously rich trees and began slashing them. The cutting sound grabbed the attention of the animals and birds in that forest. All of those animals and birds looked at him and thought he is just cutting the tree and we are safe we won't lose anything.

 

After days turned into weeks, he came with a gun and started shooting the birds in that forest. In that instance, the animals thought we are safe he is hunting the birds.

After weeks turned into months, he came with a gun as he came earlier. But this time he started shooting Deers. Again the animal's attention was grabbed by those gunshots. Each species thought that they are safe.  Like elephants think they are safe, In giraffes think that they are safe, foxes and monkeys they are thinking that they will be safe and he is just hunting the other animals. As this goes on hunter coming day by day and hunting each kind of animals in each day......

He looted everything in the forest.

BACKGROUND VOICE SAY '' THOSE ANIMALS IN THE STORY WERE YOU(AUDIENCE) AND THAT HUNTER IN NONE OTHER THAN THE BRITISH. THEY ARE USING OUR DIFFERENCES IN THEIR FAVOR . WE SHOULD STICK TO THE COMMON THINGS IN US THOSE ARE NATIONALISM, PATRIOTISM AND HUMANITY.....

The Audience started murmuring with each other they were so anxious and frustrated about  the way the british used their differences.

There comes the background voice again '' I have another bonus show for  you all ''

Again there is a forest of various kinds of animals  and birds leading their way of life and one day a hunter came into the forest and tried to hunt the deers . But the birds noticed his arrival this time and started cheeping to alert the other animals. Then all the animals in unite came and started roaring against the hunter. This time the hunter ran away with fear..... 

 THE END

THE ANIMALS FIND THE STRENGTH WHICH THEY HAVE IN COMMON. AND ITS OUR TURN TO STAND UNITE FOR OUR MOTHER INDIA. JAI HIND (LONG LIVE INDIA) .
