After reading this meaning of National Anthem You might hit by the question that whom did we praised in this anthem?

The answer for that question in Rabindranath Tagore words "I have praised the God Bharata bagya vidhata who is constant charioteer of travellers through the ages, he who guides through all the difficult circumstances, he who born many ages". These are the words mentioned by Rabindranath Tagore in his letter to Pulin behari Sen in 10 Nov 1937.

Tagore further added " He can never be the king George V or any George".

Tagore insisted his theme of the song Jana gana mana.. in the letter to Pulin behari Sen. Because there was controversy on Jana gana mana that this song was sung to praise the king George V who visited India in 1911.

Hope you acknowledged the meaning of National Anthem Jana gana mana. Finally jai hind (long live India).
